ECCB'12 - Arriving by car
Basel is the point where the Swiss, French and German motorway networks meet. Congress Center Basel and the trade-fair grounds have their own motorway exit. The "Messe" exit from the A2 motorway leads directly to the fair and congress ground. There are a multi-storey car parks at Exhibition Square and Badischer Bahnhof.

Basel has an excellent public transport system, and there is no need to travel to ECCB'12 by car. When checking in as a guest at a hotel in Basel, you will receive a Mobility Ticket which gives you free use of public transport during your stay.
Parking in Basel is quite expensive, and there are no free parking spots in the proximity of the Congress Center. There are also no reduced parking fees for ECCB'12 partcipants, and ECCB'12 does not refund any costs for travel by car or for parking as part of travel fellowships. |
